Grandma's journey

Dear Darling Asmi, This is how your grandma got introduced to you when you our little fairy came into our lives as a gift from God. Your doting Papa sent this picture with a message from the Operation Theatre of Cloud Nine Hospital-It is a Girl- and my life changed. A wait of three long decades got over and our boisterous home now had a princess who will be the tiny ruler of our family. And after nearly an hour which seemed an unending wait I set my eyes on you snuggled in the nurse's arms and my first look at your round face made me react- Oh she is a split image of  her dad , my son Pranit- after which the nurse gave you to me for a second and took you away. And I felt like telling her to leave you with me but realised that you needed the warmth of your mother Nidhi who has nurtured you so lovingly for nine months, made sure ate the best and ensured rest so that you her baby would be healthy.
